CorporateRewards EVP Tom Silk weighs in on the role of big data in incentive programs in the Nov./Dec. 2014 issue of Sales & Marketing Management Magazine.
As a manager, one of the best things you can do to build employee engagement and get results is to build a cohesive team. Encourage employees to work together as much as possible to reach shared goals in addition to individual ones.
CR recently expanded its office space by 50 percent following a surge in business and staff in 2014. Located on the 39th floor of the Empire State Building, CorporateRewards increased its office space from 4,600 to 6,900 square-feet to accommodate the recent addition of 20 new employees.
Thanks to the publicity around cultures of “cool,” high performing companies like Google and Zappos, there is a perception that engaging employees is all about letting them bring their dogs to work, giving them free food, and helping them to de-stress by getting massages and playing video games. CorporateRewards dives in deeper and breaks down what’s really important when building an engaged workforce.
Every company wants engaged employees, but how do you weigh effort against results? Employees who are effective within the time allotted for the workday should be recognized and encouraged to continue doing so.
