Employee Rewards Software Provider CorporateRewards Welcomes New CEO
CorporateRewards, a provider of employee engagement and performance solutions and software, has announced today that James J. Hemmer has been named CEO, brought in to lead the company into its next phase of expansion. Hemmer replaces Company Founder & CEO G. Edward Brookshire, who will remain on the Board of Directors as Chairman Emeritus.
Hemmer joins CorporateRewards from Antenna Software, where he was the President and CEO from 2002 through its 2013 acquisition. He brings over 30 years of global experience in technology and software at companies such as Computer Sciences Corporation, Capgemini, and Fujitsu.
Hemmer joins CorporateRewards at a new phase of expansion: the company partnered with private equity group The Riverside Company in December 2012 and grew exponentially in 2013.
CorporateRewards offers disruptive technology in the employee engagement and sales incentives and motivation marketplace, using software to segment and positively change behavior in the workplace. Their employee recognition and performance software provides an interactive platform to recognize good work, reinforce company culture, increase sales and foster learning.
“Jim will help us continue to build a bigger and better company,” said CorporateRewards Chairman of the Board Rex Niles. “His deep experience in the software sector will enable CorporateRewards to continue expanding its product offerings, growing organically and improving its sales capabilities. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
Hemmer is excited about the opportunity.
“I’m delighted to be taking over a strong and effective company in CorporateRewards,” said Hemmer. “We have an exceptional product offering and a great team, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow the company.”
Brookshire, having founded and run the company for 15 years until its sale to Riverside, is pleased to continue contributing as an investor and as Chairman Emeritus.
“Jim is precisely the kind of guy to take this company to the next level in terms of sustainable growth and ensuring best-in-class platform development,” said Brookshire.
